SAS Quant Fund

Fund Description And Objective

Strategy

The SAS Quant Fund takes advantage of short-term dislocations in the market.

The strategy does this by utilizing put selling on both equities and micro emini S&P 500 futures options. Most underlyings that the fund sells puts on will have $100 billion market cap, good management, and positive income.

The strategy will periodically take long positions in SPY and micro emini S&P 500 futures.
A small amount of micro emini S&P 500 futures calls will also be periodically sold.

Investing Through An IRA

Investing through your 401(k) or IRA is easy. A 401(k) will need to be rolled over into an IRA. Then the IRA will need to be custodied under a self-directed IRA. This process takes about 1-2 weeks.

There are many self-directed IRA custodians to choose from. Midland Trust can help set up your self-directed IRA. The SAS Quant Fund is also registered with them.

Fees through Midland are:

First year – $505
There after – $325

Adding new money at any point – ~$85 per transaction. Midland Trust’s fees.

You can reach Midland Trust at https://www.midlandtrust.com.

Direct Investing
